What is Big Plus?
Our Maxmill and Enshu CNC machining centers come standard with Big Plus Spindle Systems. What is the diffrence between Big Plus and a stander 7/24 spindle taper?
Whereas traditional spindles only contact on the taper, BigPlus spindles contact on the taper and the flange of the tool. This results in a spindle that is able to take bigger cuts faster due to the increased rigidity of the tool. The reduced vibration of the BigPlus spindle also results in better surface finishes and produces more accurate parts.
